Automatic Electric Model
34A3
Automatic Electric is a telephone maker that was based in Chicago, IL. This model was
introduced in 1934 and was the first "all inclusive" models for this company.
This means all parts needed are included in the base of the phone, no separate bell box is
required as with earlier models.
I have this phone available in the two options offered by Automatic Electric. You
commonly see these in brass, but this is not correct for this phone. These phones are the
result of somebody sanding off the paint to expose the brass underneath. These phones were
never offered in brass. I stick to originality, so you will not find any brass
option here.
The phone is made of Bakelite and shined up beautifully. The cords are new reproduction
black cloth cords. I have the phone all wired and ready to go, just plug it in.
