The Western Electric 500 is probably the most widely produced phone ever. Starting in the late 1950s and continuing right into the early 1980s. This is the model that replaced the long running 302 model.

All the models shown for sale at the left are Western Electric unless otherwise stated. ITT and Stromberg Carlson are identical to the Western Electric, so I've just lumped them together to save space.
